🔹 Project Overview

The Mumbai–Pune Missing Link Project is a critical infrastructure initiative aimed at improving connectivity and reducing travel time between Mumbai and Pune. MAARG CONSTRUCTION was awarded a key segment of the project by AFCONS Infrastructure Ltd. to execute vital civil engineering and groundwork operations in challenging terrain.


🔹Scope of Work

Our team was entrusted with multiple high-precision construction activities under this project, including:

  • Bridge Foundation Excavation – Deep excavation for bridge footings in rocky terrain.

  • Controlled Blasting – Precision blasting for hard rock removal while ensuring structural safety.

  • Embankment Formation – Layered earth filling and compaction for road base development.

  • Subgrade Preparation – Grading and leveling for stable pavement foundation.

  • GSB (Granular Sub Base) Construction – Placement and compaction of granular layers.

  • MCB (Median Concrete Barrier) Erection – Safe divider installations for traffic management.

  • Third-Party Coordination Works – Liaison and support services for inspections and approvals.
