🔹 Project Overview
As part of the urban transit expansion in Gujarat, the Ahmedabad Metro project demanded highly skilled execution for underground tunnelling support. MAARG CONSTRUCTION was awarded a critical segment involving tunnel muck removal, partnering with AFCONS Infrastructure Ltd., a leader in metro infrastructure.
This assignment required advanced logistics and precise coordination to ensure uninterrupted progress within underground construction zones.
🔹Scope of Work
We were responsible for the complete muck handling and disposal process during tunnel excavation, including:

Continuous Muck Removal – Round-the-clock removal of excavated materials from tunnel boring sites.

Efficient Loading & Transport – Use of advanced loading machinery and dedicated transport units to manage volume flow.

Tunnel Logistics Management – Seamless coordination with excavation teams to avoid bottlenecks and downtime.

Dust & Safety Control – Implementation of dust suppression and safety protocols in confined underground zones.
🔹Our Role & Impact
Successfully managing and disposing of 6 lakh CUM of excavated material within city limits required robust operational planning and reliable manpower. MAARG CONSTRUCTION met tight deadlines while adhering to all safety and environmental standards, ensuring smooth tunnel progress for the metro corridor.
